Chicken Manchurian













Ingredients


  • 1 pound boneless chicken cut into small bite size pieces
  •  Soy Sauce - 2tsp
  • All purpose flour - 200 gms
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Ajinomotto - a pinch
  •  chilli powder, salt, black pepper to taste

  • red food color- a pinch
  •  Sufficient refined oil for deep frying 
  •  Egg - 2
  •  mix of sauces (1 tblsp soy sauce+ 1tblsp tomato sauce+ 1tblsp vinegar+ 1tsp red chilli sauce)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  •  1tblsp Ginger cut into small pieces
  •  2tblsp Garlic cut into small pieces
  • 2-3 green chillies- chopped
  • 2-3 large Onion chopped
  •  Bell peppers ( yellow, red & green) - cut in to bite size pieces
  • 2 tblsp to make chicken Manchurian

Preparation:

1) Mix the all purpose flour, beaten egg, ginger garlic paste, soy sauce, food color, salt, chilli powder to make a paste.
2) Add the chicken to the paste and keep it for half an hour.
3) Heat sufficient oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken. keep aside.
4) Heat  oil in a pan and fry the chopped onions, cut bell peppers, green chilles, ginger and garlic pieces till light golden brown & don't over cook the bell peppers they should be crunchy.
5) Add the mix sauce , sugar and let it boil
6) Add the fried chicken pieces to the boiling mixture.
7) Add the ajinomotto and black pepper. adjust salt. mix well. 


Serve hot with hot hot noodles.
