Shell fish curry (south Indian Style)



Ingredients
Shell fish 500 gm
Red chillies fried  5 (u can add kashmri red chlli powder )
Tarmarind pulp-1 tblsp
 rice 1tsp
oil 2 tblsp
1 midium size onion chopped
5 garlic cloves chopped
Hing a pinch
Haldi
Salt
Chopped coriander leaves 1tblsp
Method:
Grind the redchillies, tarmarind & rice to a smooth paste.
clean the shellfish in hot water to remove mud & sand .

Boil it with waterin a vessel. Break the shell fish into two and keep only the part with flesh in it.
Clean the flesh again. Add the prepared  masala paste  & salt & boil for 5-10 min.
Keep oil in a kadai  and add chopped onion and garlic flakes and fry . Add hing, 1 pinch haldi. Pour the tempting to the fish curry & Mix properly. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.Turn off the gas & serve hot with rice/ roti.
U can try the curry with prawns also.
