Beetroot Cutlet





Ingredients: 

Boiled veggies 2-3 large potatoes, 2 large Carrots
1 Beet root (cooled and mashed)
Green peas a handful (boiled)
1 onion chopped
Green chillies – 2-3 chopped
1 tblsp Ginger/ garic crushed
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder,
1 tsp Garam Masala powder,
Amchur powder a pinch
Turmeric powder a pinch
Cumin-coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1tsp
Salt to taste
Dried kastoori methi leaves 1 tblsp
A handful of Peanuts
Coriander leaves chopped
Bread crumbs and rawa to coat the cutlets
Oil to sallow fry
In a pan heat oil. Crackle cumin seeds.. Add chopped onions and peanuts. Now add chopped green chillies and crushed ginger & garlic. Add the dry kasturi methi leaves. Add all the spice powders.mix well.
Then add the boiled veggies..adjust salt. Saute for 5-10 mins in a medium low flame till all masalas are well coated with the veggies.
Add chopped coriander leaves. Remove from flame. Keep aside.let the mixture cool properly.



Shape it to cutlets.
Dip the shaped cutlets in bread crumbs and rawa mix & sallow fry them.
Serve with Tomato Ketchup.
