Ingredients:
1 cup Wheat flour
Water to knead dough
Salt
Oil
Ingredients for Bhaji
2 Potatoes (peeled & boiled)
1 Chopped onion
curry leaves
1 large Chopped green chilies
1/2 tsp. Ginger chopped
1/2 tsp.grated garlic
½ tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp. Lemon juice
1 tbsp. Oil
1 tbsp. Coriander finely chopped
1/2 tsp. each Cumin & mustard seeds
Method:
For Pooris :
Mix flour and salt.Knead soft pliable dough with water.
Keep aside for 30 minutes. Divide dough into 10 equal parts, make small balls.
Roll small puris with the help of some oil.
Heat oil in a deep pan, fry on both sides till light brown.
Serve hot with bhaji.
For Bhaji :
Peel the potatoes and crush them with hand .Heat oil in a pan, put the mustard and cumin seeds and allow it to splutter. Add chopped onions. Add curry leaves. Add salt, turmeric. Add ginger, garlic & green chillies and stir it for a minute. Add the potato mixture and lemon juice. Add water and let it simmer on low heat for five minutes.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot with pooris.
