Allu Tikki


5 large potatoes ( boiled & mashed)
1 cup bread crumbs
½ cup crushed roasted peanuts
1 tsp roasted white til
4-5 tblsp raisins fried
3 onionschopped
chopped coriander leaves
2 large  green chillies chopped


Boil the potatoes. Peel and grate to mash thoroughly.
Heat up a little oil in a pan, add onion and fry until soft.
Mix in sauted onion, crushed peanuts, coriander leaves, green chillies,white til, salt and bread crumbs to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
Divide into ten equal portions.Stuff each portion with fried raisins, make balls and flatten them.
Heat up a griddle and shallow fry the tikkis with a little oil until light golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot with tarmarind and green chutney .
