Janhi Nadia bhaja (Ridge gourd sukhi bhaji WITH COCONUT)


Ridge gourd 250 gm
1 onion chopped
2-3 cloves of garlic chopped
Curry leaves
Split White urad dal  1tbsp
Split yellow Moong dal 1 tbsp
Grated coconut ½ cup
Turmeric-1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Cumin & mustard seeds (1/2 tsp each)


Wash Peel  & cut the Ridge gourds in cubes.
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin & mustard seeds. Add curry leaves & onions. Add chopped garlic cloves.when they turns to golden brown in colour add urad dal & moong dal. Fry for some time. Add ridge gourds. Stir for some time. Add salt & haldi. Cover the lid . Let the ridge gourds boiled properly. Add grated coconut stir for 1-2 min.switch off the flame.Your janhi bhaja is ready.
