Anjeer halwa





Ingredients:

250 grams dried Figs
3-4 tablespoons Ghee
1/2 ltr milk
4 tablespoons Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder
Fried kaju kismis (1/2 cup)
2 tablespoons Slivered Almonds

Method:

1. Cook the Figs in boiling Water for about 3 to 5 minutes. Drain and puree them in a food processor.
Keep aside. Heat the Ghee in a  pan, Add the pureed Figs.Stir for some time. Add Milk. Stir for 5-10 min. Add Sugar. Cook for about 5 minutes till the Sugar has dissolved, stirring continuously. Add the Cardamom powder and mix well.. Serve hot, garnished with slivered Almonds & fried kaju & kismis. Halwa is ready to serve.
