Dalma (Toor dal with all vegetables)ହରଡ ଡାଲମା







Ingredients:

2 cup toor dal
150gm Potatos
50gm sweet potatoes
100 gm pumpkin
100gm yam
100 gm raw papita
2 raw banannas
100 gm brinjals 
100gm arum
1 large tomato


1 tsp cumin seeds
1 -2 tsp crushed ginger
2 tsp roasted cumin powder
chili powder 
2 red chillies
salt as per taste
1-2 bay leaves
1-2 tspdesi ghee
grated coconut- 1/2 cup
chopped coriander leaves
Method:

Soak the toor dal in water for 15 min. Drain all the water from dal. Add all the vegetables & dal in a cooker by adding salt & turmeric. Add water as required.Allow 2 whistles.

 Heat ghee in a kadai. Add cumin seeds and red chillies and let it splutter. add crushed ginger.Then  Stir it for some time.
Add roasted cumin powder & grated coconut.switch off the flame.
Garnish with coriander leaves.Serve this with steaming hot rice, roti or parathas.
