Khusuli Pitha



Ingredients:
Rawa 2 cups
Salt as per taste
Water- 3cups
Grated coconut- 1cup
Sugar- ¾ cup
cardamom / illaichi-4-5 nos
blackpepper powder
kaju,kismis-1cup fried

Method:
Stuffing: mix coconut , sugar,iilaichi ,black pepper , fried kaju & kismis.

How to make pitha:
Put a kadai on gas.add water. Add pinch of salt to it. When water starts boiling add rawa to the boiling water.stir it continuously & prepare a thick dough. Switch off the gas.
Keep the dough in room tempreture & knead it by adding ½ tsp oil. Make small balls from the dough.Flatten each ball by pressing in your palms & place the stuffing in it.close the flatten balls & do it like D shape.
Put the idli maker on high flame & steam the stuffed pithas for 10-15 mins.
Put it in a plate & serve hot with dalma..
