Bread Uthapam


This is a very easy, quick &  delicious breakfast preparation. I had never tasted this bread uttapam anywhere but one week before my friend told me ab8 this recipe.. I searched in youtube & got this recipe .Today moring I made this for breakfast & believe me it was delicious ......:)
Let us see how it goes to get it done..








Ingredients:


Few slices of bread
1/2 cup sooji 
1 cup curd
a pinch of hing
red chilly powder- ½ tsp
jeera/ cumin seeds- 1tsp (optional)
a pinch of baking soda
salt to taste, 
1 cups of chopped green chillies, coriander (optional), grated carrot, green bellpepper, cabbage , tomato (optional), onion..

Method:


Mix the sooji, curd, hing , baking soda and salt in a bowl. Keep for an hour. 
After an hour, add all the veggies  to the curd mixture. Add cumin seeds & red chilli powder. Mix well.


 Take the bread slices in your hand..



Spread the mixture on one side of  each bread slices. 

Heat  tava , apply little butter. 
Then fry the bread slices with the mixture side down.



 Fry for 2 minutes. 
Flip and fry the other side till light brown colour.



..Serve hot with tomato sauce.
