Besan Pitha (Besan dosa)

Besan 1 Cup
Rice Flour ½  Cup (optional, helps for the crispness)
Onion 1 finely chopped
Green Chiles 1 chopped
Cumin Seeds 1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder- ¼ tsp
Hing a pinch
Salt as per the taste
Butter/ Oil 2tsp
Chopped Coriander leaves

Mix besan  ,rice flour, salt, and cumin seeds In a bowl, Add water and make it a thin batter like  Dosa batter. Add  the chopped onions ,hing, red chilly powder,green chillies & chopped  coriander leaves. Mix properly.
 Heat a tawa, apply 1 tsp butter/oil. Pour a ladle full of batter in circular motions. Starting from the center, spread in circular motion outwards until it is evenly spread about 6” circles.
Pour 1 teaspoon oil around the dosa and turn on other side. The dosa should be golden brown on both sides  & crispy.Serve besan dosa with curd or any chutney.
